Easter 2012

Letter from the editor

Just like the season, it’s all change here at Ni4kids and in this issue we have packed even more in than we thought possible.

The arrival of spring daffodils and daylight after 6pm can only mean one thing. Easter is fast approaching and with it the promise of more inventive ways to eat chocolate. Every year the vast array of Easter Eggs on offer sends me into a confused panic buy of at least five different types. The only problem is, I then end up eating most of them myself as my son has managed to accumulate another five from friends and family, so we are still eating Easter Eggs in June. This year I will be buying a non edible gift from the great selection that we on parade in our shopping feature.

If you have just returned from outer space you might not be aware that the new Titanic Building will be opening on March 31. If you haven’t planned your visit yet our Titanic Time guide in this issue will walk you through the building’s galleries and give you an insight into what you will discover.

If like me you are a Masterchef fan you’ll love our Easter recipes from former celebrity winner Lisa Faulkner and we have fashion tips for both mum and the kids this month.

Of course the best thing about Easter is time off with the kids over the school holidays and with this issue in hand you will have no problem keeping them entertained. Family events, check, outdoor activities check, Easter craft ideas, check.
Yes, its all covered, now go and have a cracking Easter.

Enjoy April, see you next month
