February 2017

It’s their special day. A once in a year celebration where they are the star performer to a VIP audience of select family and friends. The countdown began months ago and mums and dads –let’s be honest – the pressure to host the perfect party is on!

But do not fear… Help is at hand from these experts who take the pain out of planning so you can just join in the fun…

A Big ‘Buon compleanno!’ at Fratelli

Fratelli Ristorante, Pizzeria & Bar oozes rustic Italian charm with a contemporary edge. Meaning ‘brothers’ in Italian, the Fratelli brand concept is to welcome guests into a family friendly, informal environment where the focus is on simple, yet quality cookery and a warm welcome.

Our friendly team serve traditional Italian dishes with a modern twist: Authentic Italian cicchetti perfect for sharing, pizzas fired in our wood oven, mouth-watering pasta dishes and tempting mini-desserts all feature on our unique menu.

Kids will be transformed into little chefs themselves with a chef’s hat and apron. They will have the opportunity to build their own unique pizza from a range of toppings; pork sausage to sweetcorn nibbles, garden peas to pepperoni and lots more! While the chef is cooking your pizza, read the story of the three little pigs before enjoying a mini bambinocino. Join us today in our Galgorm or Great Victoria Street Ristorante – BUON APPETITO!

Get a Pizza the Party Action

Plan a unique party for the kids with Little Winger Workshops for only £7.95 per child.

During the workshop, Little Wingers will don their very own chef’s hats and aprons and get stuck in, creating their own pizza masterpieces from scratch, rolling out dough and sprinkling on toppings before handing them to our chef to be cooked in the oven.
The kids will chow down on dough sticks and garlic butter while their pizzas cook, finishing off with a choice of ice cream and mini hot chocolate!

Little Wingers Workshops are aimed towards 5 to 8 year olds and can accommodate up to 20 children, however other groups can be arranged on request.

Parties last approximately an hour and a half and are normally from 11am to 12.30pm, depending on party size and booking date – though flexibility may be possible.
Booking is simple – just contact your local Little Wing and ask about availability.

Checklist Countdown

6 weeks before

Popular venues will be booked out weeks in advance so do book early if your child has their heart set on a particular venue or you want to secure a certain time. Remember to ask important questions such as; do they supply party invitations; what are the minimum numbers; how many adults are required to supervise; are you allowed to bring decorations such as balloons; and is there a gift for each child attending?

4 weeks before

Send out your invitations and ask parents to RSVP by one week prior to the party. If you have decided to order a cake from a supplier, do it now or if you are baking your own for the first time, try a practice one first!

2 to 3 Weeks before

Source any additional decorations, balloons, cake toppers, party bags etc., particularly if your party has a theme. Better ranges – and prices – for these items can often be found online, so make sure you leave enough time for delivery. We like gingerray.co.uk and monsterparties.co.uk for a fab selection of themed party accessories.

1 week before

Finalise your guest list and confirm numbers. Buy any additional party food, candles and party bag items. Plan and research some new party games to play or put some of your child’s favourite pop tunes on your phone for emergency musical statues or an impromptu kids’ disco.

On the day

Remember to bring matches for the cake, a pen to write down who brought which present for thank you notes (or texts), keep your sense of humour and – even if every aspect doesn’t go exactly to plan – enjoy your child’s brilliant birthday.
