Warning: Storm Pumpkin Set to Hit Victoria Square

Khloé Maxwell, Victoria Square’s very own ‘Spiderella’ and resident Pumpkin Expert, is preparing for an influx of 1,000 pumpkins at Belfast’s famous shopping landmark.

‘Storm Pumpkin’ will hit the lower ground floor of Victoria Square on Saturday 28th October, marking the return of the its much-loved traditional Pumpkin Patch – this year supported by leading retailer, Asda.

Over four days (28th Oct – 31st Oct), big and little kids alike can pick, carve and paint their own ‘smashing’ pumpkin to take home, with all proceeds going to local charities.

George Rankin, Senior Director for Asda Northern Ireland commented:
“We’re delighted to team up with Victoria Square for this ‘fang-tastic’ pumpkin partnership. All proceeds from the activity will go to Children in Need, and the NSPCC Northern Ireland - which are Asda and Victoria Square’s charity partners. We know everyone will get into the ‘spirit’, and support the Pumpkin Patch this year!”

Michelle Greeves, Victoria Square Centre Manager said, “We are delighted to be teaming up with Asda for our annual Halloween Pumpkin Patch. Victoria Square is the must visit place for the Halloween holidays – with 19 delicious restaurants and the ODEON cinema, plus our amazing Asda pumpkin patch, it’s a perfect family day out”.
