Action For NI Young People At Risk Of Homelessness

Leading Charity Action for Children bedded down and staged Northern Ireland’s biggest ever mass sleep-out on Friday October 6 to raise vital funds for young people at risk of homelessness.

150 fund raisers from the business and IT industries pulled on their sleeping bags and cosied up to sleep under the stars at the iconic venue for the charity’s annual Byte Night event.

The sponsored sleep-out helps to support the charity’s vital work in preventing youth homelessness. Action for Children Northern Ireland director Dawn Shaw said: “It was an incredible night at Stormont with volunteers joining together for a fantastic cause. It’s our biggest and best Byte Night so far and the funds raised are making a difference to young people right here in Northern Ireland.”
