Carrickfergus Museum is launching an exciting new initiative to encourage younger children and their families to visit. Following on from a number of highly successful events and activities aimed at an Early Years audience, the latest offering welcomes little ones into the museum once a month for free, fun-filled interactive sessions.

A mix of storytelling, rhythm and rhyme, crafts, and more, have all been specially designed to support early child development. There will also be several special puppet shows featuring museum mascot, Micah the monkey, who continues to be a hit with the museum’s smallest visitors.

The sessions will be held monthly, but visitors can call in any time to the museum Playzone or try out Micah’s Gallery Trail.
