Terrific Teas! A Sensory Garden Workshop (Family Session)

March 7 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Come to see our Sensory Garden and learn all about edible and healing herbs. You will also have a chance to make and sample your own terrific tea!

The sensory garden at Larne Museum, appealing to all the senses through colour, scent, sound, taste and touch, was designed by local garden designer and artist, Dawn Aston in 2008. Local primary schools, St Anthony’s, Larne & Inver and Linn, helped to plant the flower beds and planters. The garden includes aromatic plants, such as lavender and thyme, along with tactile ornamental grasses.
