Titanic Hotel Belfast Raises £12,000 for Cancer Fund for Children

In the first year of its partnership with Cancer Fund for Children, staff at the Titanic Hotel Belfast, has raised an incredible £12,000 for the charity.

Throughout the year, the team at Titanic Hotel Belfast embraced a range of innovative and daring fundraising initiatives, including putting the fun in fundraising with an exhilarating abseil challenge, coffee mornings, charity raffles, and themed events.

Adrian McNally, General Manager of Titanic Hotel Belfast, expressed his pride in the team’s dedication and creativity. He said: “We are absolutely delighted to have raised £12,000 in our first year of partnership with Cancer Fund for Children. The enthusiasm and determination of our team has been truly inspiring. From braving an abseil to hosting unique fundraising events, their commitment to making a difference has been exceptional. We are incredibly grateful to our guests and the local community for their generosity and support. Looking ahead, we aim to match or exceed this total in 2025, ensuring we continue to help families affected by cancer.”

Phil Alexander, CEO of Cancer Fund for Children said: “Every week in Northern Ireland, approximately 3 children and young people (aged 0-24) are diagnosed with cancer and life changes for their whole family. We provide informal emotional, social and therapeutic services so these families don’t have to face their experience alone and we are so incredibly grateful to the Titanic Hotel Belfast team for their support of these services. The amazing funds they have raised will help us be there for even more families when they need us most.”

Titanic Hotel Belfast remains committed to supporting the charity in 2025, with plans already underway for new challenges and events that will engage both staff and guests in achieving another impressive fundraising total.
