Are you ready to get boggin’ in support of children and young people impacted by cancer?
Whether you’re flying solo or taking part with family, friends or colleagues, challenge yourself against nature this October at Castlewellan Forest Park.
Crawl through bushes, climb over fallen trees, wade through mud pits and take on the lake, all so Cancer Fund for Children can continue to provide the right support at the right time to children and young people impacted by cancer.
RJ, his wife Tori, and their sons Caleb and Noah live in Castlewellan, home of the Bog Run event. RJ was diagnosed with cancer in 2023 and the family have received support from Cancer Fund for Children since. They took part in the 2023 Bog Run shortly after RJ’s diagnosis.
“Cancer Fund for Children made what was a really difficult time a lot more bearable. Knowing someone was there for us as well as the children has helped a lot. Caleb and Noah were given opportunities to chat about things as much as they wanted, with people who understand what it’s like. The charity’s Cancer Support Specialist, Paul, also did one-to-one sessions with the boys and they were brilliant.”
Sign up today and show your support for families like RJ’s, and help ensure they do not have to face cancer alone.
