First Pregnancy, Baby and Toddler Fair this Thursday in Belfast

This Thursday 19th May sees Your Baby NI’s first Pregnancy, Baby and Toddler Fair take place in Belfast. Taking place at the Stormont Hotel in Belfast, the event runs from 9am to 5pm and is packed with great information, products and services for parents, as well as plenty of fun to keep the little ones amused too.

Exhibitors

There are over forty businesses and organisations exhibiting at the Fair – including us! There are specialist organisations such as Sure Start, Family Support NI and the Labour Relations Agency are on hand for practical advice and guidance.

Health organisations and providers such as Kingsbridge Private Hospital, the PHA’s Neonatal Infant Feeding Leads, the Western Health Trust’s Human Milk Bank, and the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust’s infant feeding team and health visiting team will be at the fair for any support and advice parents may need.

As well as this, there are also a hige range of local and international companies offering a range of products and services aimed at making those early years with your children just a bit easier. Belfast Baby Company, Babylife, A Wee Token and Ardo are just a few whose stalls you can peruse.

A packed and varied programme has been curated with prospective parents, new parents, parents of little ones in mind. Topics include:

For the little ones

For those of you bringing your little ones, there will be plenty to keep them amused and occupied.

Sing and Sign Belfast uses music and sign as a fun way to connect, communicate and have fun with your child before they can speak. Special songs as well as familiar nursery rhymes make these taster sessions a rich experience you and your little one will enjoy.

Playballni will also be running taster sessions. They are children’s Sport and Movement Development Specialists with age specific programmes for 2 – 9 year olds. Their taster sessions will be fun for your child and a great way to burn off  energy in a fun and safe way.
