For many years The Open University has provided academic consultants for a range of natural history programmes in co-production with the BBC.
The University now takes a look at the influence of these natural history programmes on public conservation. What impact can we really have to stop the continual degradation of habitats and ecosystems? Dr Miranda Dyson, Open University Lecturer and BBC academic consultant for Planet Earth III, will look at how climate change is affecting animal behaviour and the role she played in order to convey this on the series.
