St. Patrick’s Day 2024

The popular St Patrick’s Day climb of Slemish will take place on Sunday 17 March – with traditional music to make it a rewarding experience for all.

The one and a half kilometre walk at Slemish takes approximately one hour up and down, and it is strongly advised that suitable clothing and strong footwear is worn.

Sections of the short climb can be steep and slippery and might not be suitable for all.

Don’t forget to pick up your climber’s certificate! (Limited quantity available)

Time: Shuttle bus operates from 9am – 3.30pm

To manage the traffic and for health and safety reasons, parking arrangements for the event are as follows:

• FREE park and ride at Silverwood/Michelin, Raceview Road.
  The shuttle bus service will operate from 9am-3.30pm.
  Dogs are not permitted on buses.
• No parking permitted anywhere close to Slemish Mountain (including Carnstroan Road or Carnstroan Lane)
