W5 launches £8 September Saver ticket offer
This September, families can experience big adventures for less as W5 at The O2 Belfast, Northern Ireland’s an award-winning science and discovery centre, announces its £8 September Saver ticket offer. Perfect as a back-to-school treat, a day at W5 is the ultimate reward for curious kids and fun-loving families.
Until 28 September, visitors can unlock a world of wonder with eight interactive zones and over 250 hands-on exhibits designed to spark imaginations and inspire curiosity. Little explorers, and big kids too, can experiment, create, and discover together in an unforgettable day out.
And the excitement doesn’t end there. Due to huge demand, W5 has extended its hit summer experience Space as well as introducing a brand-new creative experience The Snail Artist. Families now have even more time to blast off on an out-of-this-world adventure as well as embrace their inner artist.
Calling all Astronauts. Experience the Thrill of W5 – Space
Following a stellar summer, W5 – Space has been extended throughout September, giving families even more time to blast off into a universe of out-of-this-world adventures, running on weekends throughout the month.
Young space explorers can step inside the W5 Space Explorer Academy and take on a series of astronaut challenges as they journey through the experience. Navigate Mars Rovers, build and launch their own air-powered rockets, discover real space artefacts and test their skills as they uncover the wonders of space.
With space-themed activities continuing across W5, there are plenty of opportunities for curious minds to explore, experiment and discover something new.
W5 – Space is a family-friendly experience featuring a self-guided walk-through area and is included with general admission to W5.
Discover Eight Action-Packed Zones and Over 250 Hands-On Exhibits
W5 is bursting with hands-on exhibits and immersive experiences designed to spark curiosity in visitors of all ages.
Step into the Making Sense Zone to test your perception with mind-bending optical illusions, such as our famous laser harp with invisible strings. Become a TV presenter or direct a stop-motion animation in The Studio Zone, where cameras, lights, and sound bring your ideas to life. Explore structures and engineering in Build It and create your own architectural wonders from bridges to skyscrapers and more.
In the Over the Hills and Far Away Zone, wander through a storybook landscape full of your favourite childhood stories and explore the Energise Zone where science is brought to life through electricity, motion, and physics. Discover nature’s beauty in the In Our Nature Zone, where landscapes, habitats, and wildlife come alive through interactive exhibits, and scale new heights on Climbit, W5’s unique climbing structure that is part vertical maze, part jungle gym!
