Partial Solar Eclipse Family Fun Day

To celebrate the partial solar eclipse visible on 12th August, join us at the planetarium for a day of solar-themed activities for all ages. Get creative with hands-on crafts and interactive space activities, build and blast your own rockets, and enjoy colourful face painting and delicious food stalls. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn more about this exciting celestial event while taking part in a range of family-friendly activities. You’ll also have the chance to view the partial eclipse from our Astropark, so don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience the event firsthand.
Exhibition-only tickets, which include access to our family fun day activities, are available to purchase on the door. If you book a dome show, your admission also includes these activities.
